About Me:
Dr Swagat Shrestha completed his MBBS degree in 2003 and has been working as a doctor ever since. Dr Shrestha worked in Royal Perth Hospital from 2009. Dr Shrestha has worked as a medical registrar for six years in general medicine, geriatric medicine and various clinical specialities including Neurology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Oncology in various hospitals including Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Bentley Hospital, and Kargoorlie Hospital. Dr Shrestha has also worked in the Emergency Department at Armadale Hospital for six months.
Dr Shrestha did his GP training with Western Australian General Practice Education Team (WAGPET) and completed his FRACGP in 2017. He has been working as a GP for more than three years now. Dr Shrestha’s special interests are in all areas of General Practice, including Men’s Health, General Medicine, Geriatrics, and Chronic Disease Management.
